Game Review: Monochrome

One of the least hyped of the good games on the web is the game Monochrome, made by colbyszoo. Now, Monochrome isn't an epic RPG with 120 hours of gameplay, nor is it an amazing breakthrough in flash technology, it's just simple fun.

The goal of Monochrome is to avoid pentagons that are not black or white, while collecting only the black or white pentagons. If you touch a colored pentagon, you lose. If you let a black or white pentagon slip by, you lose. Put these simple rules to some rockin' version of the Tetris theme song, and you've got yourself Monochrome.

The catch is, though, that the background occasionally switches between black and white. You can easily lose your focus when this happens. Of course, that just makes you want to come back for more.

There's not much more to say about Monochrome. It's a simple game with a simple goal, and a lot of fun, so with that, all I can say is go try it out.
